On the 6th of March at Nukus Branch of Tashkent State Agrarian University welcomed the Japanese scientists’ group consisting the professors and students of Japanese Society of Civil Engineering within the framework of the 19th scientific and practical visit on Environmental Engineering. The group members – professor Kazuyuki Oshita, PhD students Satoru Yukioka and Temur Khojanazarov, Master students Zheng Zhang and Taishi Ushijima from Kyoto University, Professor Tetsuya Kusuda, PhD student Hiroyuki Honda from Kyushu University, undergraduate student Shogo Yoshida from Gifu University were accepted by the Director Elmurat Toreniyazov and during this meeting he said to the guests about the structure and specialities of Nukus Branch of TashSAU as well as the scientific researches implementing in the institution. The director also mentioned on international relations made by Nukus Branch of TashSAU, especially, with the Japanese scientific institutions such as OYO corporation, Tokio university of Agriculture and Technology and Chiba University. In turn, professor Kazuyuki Oshita and Tetsuya Kusuda expressed that the goals of the scientific and practical visit on Environmental engineering of Japanese Society of Civil Engineering are to meet with the professor-teachers and students of Nukus Branch of TashSAU and discuss about the problems of agriculture and environmental science occurring in Karakalpakstan. As well as to present the results of scientific researches which are done by Japanese Society of Civil Engineering and Kyoto, Kyushu and Gifu universities. In addition, they hoped to make bilateral cooperation between Nukus Branch of TashSAU and Japanese Society of Civil Engineering as well as three Japanese universities. Then the Japanese scientists’ group visited the Museum of agriculture and veterinary of the Branch.
That day the meeting was organized with the Japanese group in the center of informational resource of Nukus Branch of TashSAU. It was participated the professor-teachers and students. In the meeting the Japanese scientists made the presentations. Doctoral student of Kyushu University Hiroyuki Honda mentioned about his scientific work, inserting carbonate anhydride into mountain rocks, stones under the indicated temperature and pressure. His scientific work is used in some developed countries (including Japan) by investigating patience of the air pressure of stone in keeping carbonate anhydride in mountain rocks and underground not producing it to atmosphere.
Doctoral student of Kyoto University Satoru Yukioka made presentation about his research of engineering and technology. He said about disadvantage of hard and micro (small) plastics to environment. He explained results of laboratory experiments which he gathered from the roads of Nepal, Singapore and Japan.
Professor of Kyoto University Kazuyuki Oshita explained his research about new technologies of using natural fertilizers. Professor of Kyushu University Tetsuya Kusuda made presentation about the Aral Sea and water management. He gave his scientific opinions about saving the Aral Sea and mentioned scientific results about using land and water correctly, creating water policy between the republics and implementation of innovational methods of using water in agriculture. Also, he told about the technology of watering by drops which is used in Japan today.
