The Department of “Agribusiness and Accounting” has achieved several results over the past years. Our department was established in 2003 as the “Economics and Accounting” department, and by 2004 the name of the department was changed to “Economics and Agricultural Management”. The head of this department is doc. O. Berdiev was chosen and headed it until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, the department was managed by e.i.k. led by B. Seilbekov, from 2011 to 2016 e.i.k. A.Shamshetov, in the period from 2016 to 2022, the chair B. Seilbekov, e.i.f.d. until 2022-2024. Sh.Sitmuratov managed and from February 1, 2024 e.i.k. doc. B. Mirzoev is leading.

The department has 3 doctoral students, 5 master’s students and 352 undergraduate students.

Professors-educators published 7 monographs, 30 textbooks, instructional manuals and brochures in Cyrillic and Latin alphabets.

Professors-educators and young students participate in more than 300 international conferences, republican and higher education conferences with their scientific statements.

2 professors-teachers are conducting scientific activities in the department. Professors-teachers and young students of the department have been participating in international, national and higher education scientific conferences with their scientific statements.

The department trains specialists in doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s education.
