History of the department “Technology of storage of agricultural products, primary processing and cultivation of medicinal plants» The department “Storage and processing of agricultural products, selection and seed production of fruits and vegetables” was organized in 2003. In 2003-2004, the department was headed by Candidate of Agricultural Sciences U.Abyllaev. In 2004, the department was renamed to the department: “Organization of procurement, storage and processing of agricultural products.” Since November 2004, the department was managed by the candidate of agricultural sciences, associate professor Z.S. Sultanova. Since September 2016, the department was headed by candidate of biological sciences Kh.K.Matzhanova. In order to deepen the integration of science, education and production within the framework of innovative cooperation, an agreement was drawn up on joint cooperation with 6 enterprises of the Republic of Karakalpakstan: Joint Stock Company “Khuzhayli pakhta tozalash”, JSC “Khalkabad pakhta tozalash”, JSC “Takhiatosh don mahsulotlari”, JSC “Korakalpoq don mahsulotlari” and its Nukus and Kungrad branches.Education:
