History of the Faculty of Technology of Storage and Processing of Fruits and Vegetables and Agricultural Products
The Faculty of Technology for the Storage and Processing of Fruits and Vegetables and Agricultural Products was founded by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 4, 2021 “On the formation of the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnology” by decree No. 275, also in accordance with order No. 144 of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 25, 2021 , “On approval of the Charter and structure of a higher educational institution within the Ministry”, a new structure “On the protection of agricultural and technological products” Since September 2021, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (PhD), associate professor R. Yusupov has been working as the dean of the faculty.

The faculty, in the field of education and mutual cooperation, and integration with industrial production, cooperates with a number of educational institutions and industrial enterprises.
