History of the department of Fisheries

The specialty of “Fisheries” 2019 “fisheries and silk” faculty opened as “Fisheries and silk” department.

  Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 275 of May 4, 2021 on the establishment of the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agro technology and the Charter of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan of June 25, 2021 In 2021, the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agro technology of the Karakalpak Institute of Zoo engineering was renamed the Department of Fisheries.

 The head of the department is Doctor of Biological Sciences (PhD) Allahmuratova Ziyuar Bauaddinovna.

 The department prepares specialists for bachelor’s (full-time, part-time), master’s, doctoral (hydrobiology).

The department has signed agreements on innovative cooperation with 5 enterprises and farms.
