Main tasks of the department:
- Organization of research activities, training of innovative and scientific-pedagogical personnel at the University;
- Develops and ensures the implementation of the University’s plan for training research, innovation, and scientific-pedagogical personnel;
- Coordinating the activities of faculties and departments in the field of research, innovation, and scientific-pedagogical training of personnel;
- Develops cooperation agreements with the University in the field of research and scientific-pedagogical activities with production enterprises, organizations, and institutions of the republic, research institutes, centers of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as leading universities of the republic, and monitors their implementation;
- provides methodological assistance and manages the organization and conduct of scientific conferences at the University;
- Prepares and submits plans, reports, and regulatory documents for doctoral students, basic doctoral students, independent researchers, and trainee researchers, and organizes and conducts their certification.
Staff composition of the department for scientific research, innovation, and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel:
- Head of Department: Nizamatdinov Kairat Keunimjayevich, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor;
- Scientific research engineer: Erlepesov Azamat Maratovich;
- Scientific research engineer: Saparbayev Anvar Niyetbaevich.
Main Tasks of the Doctoral Department
- Bringing the content of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on education, decrees, orders, resolutions of the President, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, decisions of the Board, orders of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and orders of the rector to doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and independent applicants.
- Developing work plans for the department and submitting them for approval to the University Council in accordance with the established procedure.
- Conducting organizational work for the admission of doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and independent applicants.
- Implementing the document submission process for doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and independent applicants based on the principles of openness and transparency;
- Ensuring that regulatory legal acts concerning the activities of doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and independent candidates meet modern requirements in coordination with ministries and departments.
- Preparation of proposals to the leadership and scientific council on coordinating the activities of doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and independent researchers, as well as planning and effectively organizing their research work based on the study of foreign and national experience.
- Development of proposals for the targeted training of doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and independent candidates in priority and in-demand specialties for the republic in scientific centers and higher education institutions of developed countries based on mutual agreements.
- Supporting scientific research in priority areas aimed at the long-term development of the state and society, strengthening the scientific-technical, socio-economic, and spiritual-educational spheres, ensuring their practical effectiveness, and monitoring the fulfillment of dissertation work in accordance with established requirements.
- Ensuring the participation of doctoral students, basic doctoral students, research trainees, and independent researchers in international and national scientific conferences and seminars held at the University.
- Recommend to the Council the scientific topics and scientific supervisors of doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and applicants admitted for independent research.
- Determination of the members of the qualification examination commission for doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and independent applicants.
- Monitoring the scientific activities of doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and independent applicants at the University, as well as submitting proposals to relevant structural units regarding identified problems and deficiencies.
- Annual work plan for the training of doctoral students, basic doctoral students, research trainees, and independent applicants, and monitoring of their implementation.
- Annual certification of doctoral students, basic doctoral students, trainee researchers, and independent applicants within the established timeframes;
- Knowledge of regulatory legal acts, resolutions, orders, and other documents in the field of scientific research and their application in practice.
