Every year on May 15, the whole world celebrates International Family Day. This date was established by the United Nations (UN) in 1993, and its main goal is to enhance the role and importance of the family in society, strengthen family values and draw attention to the problems that modern families face.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev: “The family is a school of life. If we want to ensure stability and progress in society, then first of all there must be healthy, moral and educated families.” On May 26, 2025, a festive event was held under the motto “Model Family of the New Uzbekistan,” dedicated to May 15 – International Family Day.

The festive event was attended by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work M. Davletmuratov, the Rector’s Advisor for Women’s Affairs Z. Mambetniyazova, the Dean’s Advisors for Women’s Affairs T. Pakhratdinova, M. Karimullaeva, S. Orynbaeva, tutors and parents, and active student youth.

Family is not just a place where a group of people live. Family is a source of kindness, education, value, patience, and, most importantly, love. The first steps, first words, and first concepts of each person are formed in the family. The society we live in depends, first of all, on the families we are brought up in.

In this regard, gratitude was expressed to the parents of the female students of our institute, who were active in their studies and social work during the academic year, distinguishing themselves among their peers with exemplary work. Expressing boundless gratitude to the parents who took part in the festive event, the rector of the institute presented them with a letter of thanks and valuable gifts. The festive event was held under the motto “Model Family of New Uzbekistan.”
