Section history

  On August 29, 1997, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and the “National Program for Personnel Training” were adopted in our country to raise education to the level of world standards. In accordance with these documents, starting from 1999, the second stage of education—the training of personnel in master’s specialties—has been established in a number of leading higher educational institutions of our country.

  In accordance with Resolution No. 269 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 14, 2003, the Nukus branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University was established on the basis of the Agrarian Faculty of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, and starting from the same academic year, the “Master’s Department” began its activities, and the department was joined by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor. B.K. Utepbergenov served as its head until 2004. 2004-2006 – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor. R.O. Sadikov, Ph.D., Associate Professor (2006-2008); It was headed by N. Saparniyazov. Between 2008 and 2016, master’s specialties were assigned to faculty dean’s offices.

  In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 3, 2016, No. 311 “On measures to further improve the provision of agricultural and water management sectors with highly qualified personnel with higher education,” the master’s department was reorganized and reorganized into the department. B.K. Utepbergenov served as the head until 2019. 2019-2021 – Doctor of Agricultural Sciences. (PhD) E.Eshmuratov was in charge.

  In accordance with Resolution No. 275 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 4, 2021, “On measures to organize the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies,” the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies was established on the basis of the Nukus branch of Tashkent State Agrarian University, and starting from this year, the department has been headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor. master’s students are provided with knowledge on conducting educational-methodological, research work, and preparing master’s dissertations.

  Purpose of the Department: To organize the training of highly qualified master specialists at the Institute who have deeply mastered professional, legal, pedagogical, and psychological knowledge in the relevant specialty, understanding their responsibility to society, the state, and the family, based on the trends of the country’s socio-economic development in accordance with the tasks of the National Model of Personnel Training.
