  Establishment of the Registrar’s Office: In order to ensure the execution of the instructions given at the meeting dedicated to priority issues of higher education held under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev on May 6, 2024, as well as the minutes of the meeting of the Minister of Agriculture No. 01/27-110 dated July 3, 2024, and the joint decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the “Center for Projects in the Field of Education” project office No. 24-q/q and 2-q/q dated July 9, 2024, “On the establishment of a “Registrar’s Office” in higher educational organizations,” the activities of the Rector of the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies have been established as of March 1, 2025.

Types of services provided at the registrar’s office:

– Formation of a diploma with a QR code;

– issuance of an academic certificate and transcript;

– processing the documents of students sent to another higher education organization based on academic mobility in the prescribed manner;

– creation of a turnover sheet for graduates;

– assistance in submitting an application for a duplicate of the diploma;

– organizing the acceptance of appeal applications based on exam results;

– Compiling the exam list and providing it to the student;

– assisting institute students in submitting applications for transfer and resumption of studies;

– assisting applicants in submitting online applications for secondary education at the institute;

– assisting applicants in submitting online applications for admission to the institute’s master’s program;

– assisting applicants in sending applications to add or edit information in their higher education diploma;

– accepting applications for participation in scholarship and various grant competitions;

– providing the student with a certificate regarding their GPA score;

– transitioning student attendance to a motivated and unjustified state in accordance with the current procedure;

– creating a personal schedule for relevant subjects for students who, for valid reasons (illness, illness or death of a close relative, childbirth, etc.), failed to pass the intermediate and (or) final controls;

– receiving students’ documents and submitting them to the archive;

– providing students with exam results;

– assisting students in submitting applications for retraining;

– issuing various certificates to students (from their place of study, military unit, etc.);

providing students with study guides;

– providing students with information about scientific resources;

– transferring students to the next year on the HEMIS platform;

– providing information on student performance indicators;

– admit students to participate in the final control based on the results of the current, intermediate, and attendance tests;

– restoring students’ passwords;

– editing students’ personal and educational data correctly completed by tutors;

– preparation and issuance of student IDs;

– transferring a student from one group to another;

– external services: Registration in the register of social protection and women’s notebooks

formation of a list synchronized with the database of the unified register of students;

– identifying differences in the curricula of students recommended for transfer, reinstated, or remaining in the course;

– providing information on educational programs.

– assisting students in submitting applications for dormitory placement;

– assistance in writing an application for rental subsidies.

– issuing certificates to students from their place of study in English;

– providing information on various international grants and academic mobility programs;

– registering foreign students admitted to study in the electronic system and assigning them to subjects;

– consulting during studies at foreign universities;

– providing visa services for foreign students;

– providing paid contracts to foreign students;

– providing services for the temporary registration of foreign students in the Republic of Uzbekistan;

– consulting on admission of foreign students, acceptance of applications and required documents for consideration;

– issuance of a contract for retraining; issuance of a scholarship certificate;

– formation of a settlement account;

– assisting students in applying for a paid contract;

– providing information on the student’s debt and eligibility under the dormitory placement agreement;

– providing information on the student’s debt and eligibility under the retraining agreement;

– providing information on the student’s debt and legal capacity under the payment agreement;

– providing information on the amount of the payment contract;

– providing graduates with broader information about future jobs, and assisting in holding labor fairs.
