According to the State Commission’s statement, young people in Karakalpakstan will have the following 3 additional opportunities for admission to higher education for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Opportunity 1. From September 24-30, 2025, applicants permanently residing in the Republic of Karakalpakstan who have scored 68 points or higher on entrance exams and are recommended for full-time study at state universities on a paid-contract basis will register for 500 targeted admission parameters.
Registration is carried out through the website my.uzbmb.uz. In this case, applicants participate in the competition for the higher educational institution and field of study recommended for admission.
Registered applicants are recommended for targeted admission parameters in strict accordance with the sequence of points scored based on the results of the entrance exams.
The list of recommended applicants is communicated to the relevant higher educational institutions for formalization in the prescribed manner.
Opportunity 2. From September 29 to October 6, 2025 (inclusive), young people permanently residing in the Republic of Karakalpakstan who have graduated from general secondary, specialized secondary, and vocational educational institutions, including those recommended for admission to certain foreign and non-state higher educational institutions on a paid-contract basis, will have the opportunity to register as applicants for 200 targeted admission parameters.

For registered applicants, test trials will be held until October 12, 2025.
Based on the results of the test trials, within the framework of the target admission parameters, with strict observance of the sequence of scores collected by applicants, the results of the competition will be communicated to higher educational institutions for formalization in the prescribed manner by October 17, 2025.
Note: registered applicants are charged a fee in the amount established by Presidential Decree No. PP-4319 (May 14, 2025).
Important. By November 15, 2025, four-party agreements (between the regional khokimiyat, the relevant state body (organization), the student, and the higher educational institution) will be formalized with students admitted to targeted grant places in accordance with the above-mentioned 1st and 2nd opportunities, providing for the obligation to work in the relevant region for 3 years after graduation from the higher educational institution.
Opportunity 3. In accordance with the appeal of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications approved an additional 7,225 parameters for admission to state higher educational institutions of the republic on a paid-contract basis in the context of bachelor’s degree programs.
In this case, additional admission parameters on the basis of a basic paid contract are formed at the expense of applicants who have graduated from general secondary, secondary specialized, and vocational (professional) educational institutions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, registered as applicants for bachelor’s degree programs of state higher educational organizations, who, based on the results of the conducted entrance examinations, scored 56.7 points or higher, but were not recommended for admission.
Competition statements are sent to the relevant higher educational institutions for processing in the prescribed manner.
