  The correspondence (special correspondence) department of the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies has been operating since the 2018-2019 academic year in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and the “National Program for Personnel Training,” the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 27, 2017, No. PP-3153 “On measures to improve the system of training engineering and technical personnel for the industrial production sector in the Tashkent region,” and the “Regulation on the procedure for organizing correspondence (special correspondence) education in higher educational institutions,” approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 21, 2017, No. 930.

According to the regulation on the procedure for organizing correspondence (special correspondence) education in a higher educational institution, correspondence (special correspondence) education in our institute is carried out in correspondence form, special correspondence form, second and subsequent correspondence forms of higher education in accordance with the admission quotas approved by the relevant decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Currently, more than 931 students are studying at the correspondence (special correspondence) department of the university in the following areas:

For correspondence education:

    Admission to correspondence (special correspondence) education:

Admission of students to the correspondence (special correspondence) education of the Institute is carried out in accordance with the Regulations on admission of students to undergraduate programs of higher educational institutions, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 20, 2017 No. 393.

– For correspondence form – those who have a relevant document on general secondary (based on grades 10-11), secondary specialized, or vocational education and have successfully passed the tests (entrance examinations);
– Special correspondence form – only those who have a secondary specialized or vocational education in the relevant or related field of education and at least three years of practical work experience in the relevant field, profession, or position (pedagogical experience for pedagogical fields), have a recommendation from the relevant ministries and departments, and have successfully passed testing (entrance exams or professional interviews);

– For the second and subsequent correspondence forms of higher education, applicants with a higher education (if they have graduated from a foreign higher education institution, the document of higher education must be recognized (nostrified) in the prescribed manner) and who have successfully passed the tests (entry exams or professional interview) are admitted.
