The staff of the Department of Agricultural Mechanization at the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization and Water Resources also took a worthy part in this prestigious event. In particular, 1st-year master’s student S. Gulmuratov and 4th-year student J. Karimullaev, led by the dean of the faculty E. Sultanov and the head of the department S. Tursimuratov, took an active part in the festival.
At the exhibition of innovative projects within the framework of the festival, the “Saxaul Seeder” device, developed by the professor of the department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Honored Inventor and Rationalizer of the Republic of Karakalpakstan O.P. Auezov, was demonstrated.
The presented device attracted special attention because it is aimed at eliminating environmental problems in desert and semi-desert areas, in particular, the effective organization of the process of mechanized planting of saxaul crops. The main advantages of the device include the ability to place seeds at a specified depth and at a standard distance, reduce labor costs, and increase the productivity of the sowing process.
Following the festival, the presented “Saxaul Seeder” was highly praised by the jury. The relevance and practical significance of the project, as well as its contribution to mitigating environmental problems through the mechanization of saxaul planting processes in desert and semi-desert areas, were emphasized.
The judges made positive recommendations for the widespread implementation of this development in practice, as well as for bringing it to the production stage. The innovative approach and resource efficiency of the device served as the basis for evaluating it as one of the promising engineering solutions.
