Zulfiya Israilova is a well-known and honorable representative of our people, known as “Zulfiya,” a journalist, translator, and public figure. People’s poetess of Uzbekistan.

  Zulfiya is a laureate of the international prizes Jawaharlal Nehru (1968), “Nilufar” (1971), and the State Prize of Uzbekistan named after Hamza (1970). The Government of Uzbekistan established (https://lex.uz/ru/docs/213818) the State Prize named after Zulfiya, taking into account the great merits of the poetess. One of the streets in Tashkent is named after her.
