On April 24, 2025, the opening ceremony of the V Republican “Reader Week,” organized by specialists of the Information Resource Center of the Karakalpakstan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies and held under the motto “Uzbekistan – a place for readers,” took place.

 In order to ensure the implementation of the resolution of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 11, 2025, No. 3 on holding the V Republican “Reader’s Week” under the motto “Uzbekistan – a place for readers,” it is being widely held in our institute.
The event was attended by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment M.Davletmuratov, Head of the Information Resource Center U.Amanjolova, Youth Union Leader M.Mambetov, Deputy Dean, tutor, and students.

 At the event, the head of the information resource center, U. Amanzholova, spoke about the implementation of the national idea of “Reading Week” for young people, the development of reading culture among young people, the wide involvement of young people in reading, the meaningful organization of their free time from lessons, the expansion of vocabulary, increasing their social activity, and respect for the Motherland. Also, to widely familiarize with the masterpieces of Uzbek and Karakalpak world literature.
Then the first vice-rector of our institute M.Davletmuratov and the youth leader of the Youth Union: M.Mambetov spoke and shared their thoughts and suggestions with the participants, citing real-life examples about the role of books in human life and how useful it is to read these literary books on their life paths.

 For information, since the beginning of this year, our institute’s book collection has been enriched with more than 1,000 literary books of 205 titles.Of these: The Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan donated 500 books of 82 titles.Our institute has replenished 414 books of 123 titles.
