In the final stage of the “Green Spark” and “Youth and Climate” competitions, which brought together the best young people of Central Asia, held on May 17 in the Oqqus complex of the city of Nukus, Khudoyon Oksana, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of “Agrotechnology and Forestry” of the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies, specializing in the management and organization of fruit, vegetable, and melon growing greenhouses, took 4th place and was awarded $3,000.

 Presentations of innovative ideas and startup projects aimed at solving environmental problems were heard. Applications for participation in the competition were received from about 500 young people selected from 5 countries of Central Asia, including 24 participants in the “Green Spark” competition and 14 participants in the “Youth and Climate” competition.

  The rector of our institute, B. Jollybekov, congratulated our student youth on their achievements and emphasized that zero achievement is the most important step in future initiatives.
