The President of the Japanese company “Green Leaf” Sawaura Shoji, company employee Sawaura Yukiko, and JICA GROW project expert Yoshikawa Takuma visited the Karakalpakstan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies as part of a business trip.

The guests were welcomed by the rector of the institute, B. Zhollibekov, the office manager of OISCA-Uzbekistan, T. Buranbaev, and young people from Japan who are gaining experience as volunteers at the institute. During the visit, a round table was held between the parties.

The main goal of the meeting was to provide employment for graduates of the institute and students on the verge of graduation, as well as to further strengthen mutual cooperation.

During the conversation, both sides exchanged views on the existing opportunities and put forward proposals for the development of joint projects and practical cooperation in the future.
