The importance of the “STEM” program and the “HECI” global goal in agricultural science

On March 14, 2026, at the Karakalpakstan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies, the responsible trainer, senior lecturer of the Department of “Humanities and Languages” Z.Mambetniyazova, organized an educational meeting for the institute’s professors and teachers on the topic “The Importance of the STEM Program and the Global HECI Goal in Agricultural Science.” It provided information on the implementation of the STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) approach in the education system and the reforms being carried out to train highly qualified personnel suitable for the labor market, in accordance with the global goal of HECI (humanity, ethics, creativity, imagination).

During the event, the need for the phased implementation of the STEM program in the near future, the integration of HECI principles into the educational process, and the development of standard models of new state requirements and educational standards for the next decade was noted. The expediency of strengthening scientific research in these areas was also noted.
