At the beginning of the event, the national anthems of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan were played, filling the audience with a sense of pride and honor. Then the rector of the institute, N. Absattarov, opened the event with an introductory speech, introduced the guests, and sincerely congratulated all the participants on this significant date. In his speech, he emphasized the incomparable role of the Constitution in the life of our people and its significance in the development of society.
Next word: Chairman of the Committee of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Sh. It was given to Otemisov. In his report, he emphasized that the adoption of the Constitution was a historic turning point, it is an important document that defines the path of democratic development of the state and society. He also emphasized that our Basic Law serves as a solid foundation for ensuring human rights and freedoms and forming a national legal system. The report extensively covered the main sections of the Constitution, its principles, the rights and obligations of citizens, the system of state power, and the essence of the amendments.
Then the Deputy Chairman of the Court of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, B. Ktaybekov, spoke and noted that the Constitution is the main document reflecting the political, legal, and spiritual image of each state. He especially noted that the Constitution, adopted on April 9, 1993, served as a solid foundation for building a new state and a new society, and it was through this document that a perfect legal system was formed, regulating all spheres of public life.
During the event, the Head of the Department of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, A. Abdikarimov, also spoke and noted that the day of adoption of the Constitution is an important date in the history of our people. He noted that the articles of the Constitution give priority to human rights, freedoms, and interests, and that these norms fully comply with the generally recognized principles of international law, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Confidence was expressed that the Constitution will always serve as the main law ensuring the well-being of the people, the stability of society, and the principles of justice.
At the end of the meeting, students actively participated and addressed the guests with questions of interest. Detailed and substantiated answers provided by specialists served to further strengthen the legal knowledge of young people.
