KARAKALPAKSTAN INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURAL AGROTECHNOLOGIES TRAINING SEMINAR ON THE FIGHT AGAINST INFORMATION AND CYBERCRIME

  Pursuant to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. ZRU-764 dated April 15, 2022, “On Cybersecurity,” Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 570 dated October 5, 2022, “On the Approval of Certain Normative Legal Acts in the Field of Personal Data Processing,” and Order of the Ministry of Justice No. 20 dated November 15, 2023, “On Approval of the Model Procedure for Personal Data Processing,” in order to fulfill the task set forth in paragraph 1 of the comprehensive plan of promotional measures aimed at increasing public cyberculture and forming cyber hygiene in the Republic of Karakalpakstan until the end of 2026, developed by employees of the Institute’s “Center for Digital Educational Technologies,” a seminar-training was organized for the institute’s student youth on April 17, 2026.

  At the seminar, senior lieutenant T. Kenesbayev, a prevention inspector at the institute, and employees of the “Center for Digital Educational Technologies” conducted explanatory work on “Combating Cybercrime.”

  During the seminar, explanations were provided on information security policy, the safe use of the Internet and social networks, the distribution of prohibited content in cyberspace, the legal and other negative consequences of embezzling other people’s property through electronic payment tools, and their dissemination through social networks.
