A smart agricultural project based on artificial intelligence has been launched at our institute!
An important historical step has been taken on the path of innovative development at the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies. A strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the rector of our institute and the head of UFarmer.
Within the framework of this cooperation, an experimental plot of 1 hectare will be allocated on the territory of the educational experimental farm of our institute, where 5 types of crops will be grown based on AI technologies, smart sensors based on artificial intelligence will be installed on the field, and all data will be integrated into the digital platform of UFarmer.
Through the UFarmer platform, agricultural processes are managed entirely on the basis of AI. The system provides real-time recommendations on crops and their cultivation, agrotechnical measures, treatment, and everything else. All processes are monitored through a digital application, and scientifically grounded decisions are made.
UFarmer is a modern IT and agrotechnological platform that digitizes agricultural and business processes, providing:
• production and resource management;
• monitoring and analysis;
• process automation;
• provides opportunities such as increasing productivity.
The platform monitors the condition of crops using artificial intelligence and smart sensors, provides accurate recommendations, and serves to increase efficiency.

• Practical knowledge on using the UFarmer platform is provided
• digital and smart agriculture skills will be developed;
This project serves as a unique scientific and practical training ground for our institute. It will conduct agricultural research based on artificial intelligence, study the efficiency and accuracy of AI technologies, and analyze existing limitations and shortcomings on a scientific basis.
