Seminar of Belgium professor on “The potential for environmental-friendly brine shrimp Artemia production in the Aral sea region”

On May 24, 2021 there was a visit to the institute of Belgian Gent University Professor Patrick Sorgelos within the framework of GIZ ECO-ARAL. Professor Toreniyazov E.Sh. welcomed the guest. The main purpose of the visit was to increase artemia production in the Aral Sea region. During his stay Professor travelled to the Aral Sea to study Artemia and based on his findings held a seminar on “The potential for environmental-friendly brine shrimp Artemia production in the Aral sea region” with professors and students of the branch. During the seminar he noted that the Republic of Karakalpakstan is very favourable for the cultivation of Artemia.
