Attracted investments and grants

In 2017-2021, the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies and 4 European universities: the University of Pisa and Padua in Italy, the University of Natural Sciences in Estonia, the University of Porto in Portugal in cooperation with the European Union ERASMUS+ program 586000-ERP-1-2017-PT-ERRKA2- CBNE-JP BUzNet: The project “Blended education in the field of veterinary medicine in Uzbekistan” was implemented.

In 2019, 39,000 euros was given for an internship for teachers. In 2020, as part of the project, 15 modern computers, 2 projectors and 1 router were imported in the amount of 11,935 euros. In 2021, equipment and microscopes for the production of dairy and cheese products were purchased for a total of 28,130 euros, a container for transporting milk, a container for frozen seeds, an incubator and other equipment.

Attracted investments and grants

      From 2017 to 2021, the project “Desertification to Prevent Desertification in Uzbekistan” is being implemented by Japanese corporation OYO. Within the framework of the project, the planting works are financed by the Corporation, and by 2017 the Corporation has received and installed an agrometeorological station with a total cost of $ 13,750.

       In 2018, Germany’s STEP Systems Inc. brought LASA 3900 AGRO spectrophotometry which analyzed the soil and 2 T-WARNER meteorological stations with total cost of 24,068 euros, and meteorological stations were installed in Kegeyli and Kanlikul districts.

      Within the framework of the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan, within the framework of the project “Ensuring Climate Sustainability of Farmers and Dehkan Farms in the Arid Zones of Uzbekistan” a greenhouse construction is being carried out on the territory of the branch for a total cost of 276700000 sums.
